Dr. Edward Stadtmauer completed his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and served his internship and residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. He completed his fellowship in hematology-oncology at the University of Pennsylvania where he is currently the director of the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program, as well as chief, hematologic malignancies.

Board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, Dr. Stadtmauer is a reviewer for numerous journals and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He is widely published on the subjects of acute and chronic leukemia, autologous bone marrow transplantation, and multiple myeloma. Dr. Stadtmauer’s writings have appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine, Blood, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Journal of Clinical Oncology, New England Journal of Medicine, among others.
